Neighborhood Academy Book Drive April 23, 2013
Students from Neighborhood Academy collected boxes of children's books, which HCEF will distribute to its homeless provider partners.
Sewickley Academy's Service Day

HCEF was part of Sewickley Academy’s Service Day, training upper school students to teach fourth and fifth graders about homelessness and help them construct a letter to their legislators. Dr. Prier’s Duquesne class took the “Conscious Caring” curriculum to Winchester Thurston students on Monday, and Dr. Garrett’s class held two human trafficking events and a Stand-Up. Students at the University of Pittsburgh also held a symposium on human trafficking on campus.
