Diocese of Pittsburgh Intermediate School 2012, Essay/Poster Contest

" . . . a little help, a little hope . . ."

Your assignment:

Write an essay or create a poster based on these words by NBA Basketball great Ervin "Magic" Johnson: "All kids need a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them." How might you encourage others to do so as well.

Each year (2012 being the eighth year of the contest), two winning essays and two winning posters are selected. Winning students receive a $250 Tuition Assistance Grant from the Diocese's Department of Education. Their essays and posters are presented here.
