“Stand Up for Homeless Children” is a performance art installation where volunteers stand in silence for 15 minutes, holding up the drawing of the face of a child, representing the 4,128 children in Allegheny County who were identified as homeless last year (source: PA Department of Education). The purpose of the installation is to raise awareness and spark conversation about youth homelessness.
